14 March 2001		AFPD Pte. Ltd. was incorporated.
11 June 2001		Ground breaking ceremony for the construction of AFPD Building.
16 July 2001		First batch of engineers was recruited for training in Fukaya, Japan .
February 2002		First batch of engineers completed training in Japan .
1 April 2002		Toshiba Matsushita Display Technology Co. Ltd. was incorporated in Japan - AFPD then became its subsidiary.
10 June 2002		First PC TFT LCD panel successfully manufactured.
17 June 2002		AFPD building is fully completed.
1 August 2002		Commencement of mass production.
5 September 2002		First shipment of TFT LCD panels.
8 November 2002		Official opening of AFPD Pte. Ltd.
10 March 2003		Commencement of production of TV LCD panels.
18 September 2003		1st million panels produced.
21 August 2003		Achievement of ISO 9001:2000 certification.
10 November 2003		Achievement of ISO 14001:1996 certification.
28 December 2004		Achievement of OHSAS 18001:1999.
30 March 2005		5th million panels produced.
2 June 2005		Official Opening of AFPD Human Capital Development Centre.
25 October 2005		AFPD was awarded SILVER for SINGAPORE HEALTH 2005.
Mid March 2006		Start of 0.2T 12.1" & 14.1" panels mass production
14 March 2006		AFPD 5th Anniversary
4 September 2006		10th Million panels produced.
5 October 2006		AFPD was awarded SILVER for SINGAPORE HEALTH 2006
28 June 2007		ERT Demonstration at St. Hilda Primary School
16 December 2007		15th Million panels produced.
15 May 2008		AFPD is certified as a "Water Efficient Building" by PUB.
5/6 November 2008		NEA awarded AFPD for its Corporate partnership programme.
12 November 2008		19th Million panels produced.
