Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR)
At AFPD, we display our corporate social responsibility through the contribution to local communities, enhancing their well-being via projects and initiatives and providing humanitarian relief. We recognize the teambuilding and motivational opportunities afforded to our people by helping them to participate in community-related initiatives.
In this part of our website, we describe some of the events we have done so far to spread corporate social responsibility practices throughout AFPD.
2009 CSR Activities
CSR Chinese New Year Internal Charity Booth and Visit to Simei Care Centre
AFPD organized an internal donation drive on 13 January 2009 and 15 January 2009. Contributions collected would be given to the beneficiary, Simei Care Centre. After the course of 2 days, a total of $929 were collected from our kindhearted employees.
On the 23rd January 2009, AFPD visited the Centre together with HR & Administration Senior Manager, Ms. Elin Yaw. We were invited to join the Celebration with the residents & Staff. Despite the employees busy schedule with the preparations for Chinese New Year, they have gathered to volunteer and spread the spirits of caring and sharing towards the unfortunate. Before we end the day, we went round to distribute Hong Bao or Red Packet to every staff and residents.
